Ok, so I’d been definitely lazy on writing this particular review. It’s rather simple to do. In essence, it can be summed up in one sentence: almost exactly like the Palmolive shave stick, but in cream form. One note, this appears to be the version made in Italy; there’s another version that’s made is Belgium; not sure what the differences might be.
The lather was fairly good; thick, with some reasonable glide, and a somewhat wide sweet spot, but still a bit of fiddling needed. Decent but not outstanding moisturization properties.
The scent was the same “clean” somewhat soapy scent that the Palmolive stick gave you; perhaps just a tad stronger, but still rather weak. Not all that pleasant or interesting, IMHO.
- 6/10 Scent Pleasantness
- 4/10 Scent Strength
- 8/10 Lather Quality
Overall 5/10, dragged down due to the uninteresting scent, but it is at least quite affordable. A decent enough bang for your buck if you’re on a budget perhaps?
- Cost: Seth at MenEssentials sent me this sample for the purposes of this review. A full 100 mL tube goes for $7.
